Flamenco Spanish Product Parijio Castanets Fibra No. 5 High Quality

Spanish Palillos*+
Castanets specifically for Flamenco
Material: Fibra
Size: 5

★Types of Palillos

★Terra (Compressed Cloth)
Made by layering and compressing multiple pieces of cloth into a mold. Produces a generally low, deep sound.

Terra is lighter than other materials and requires skill to produce sound, but when mastered, it offers a pleasant, warm tone.

★Granadillo (Oak)
Molded from oak wood, this is a high-grade item. It produces a high-pitched, resonant sound.

Granadillo has a high-pitched sound that even beginners can produce beautifully. It's essential for lively Sevillanas, but it is also the most expensive.

★Fibra (Synthetic Resin)
Molded from synthetic resin.
Depending on the material and its composition, a wide range of products are made, from inexpensive to expensive.
The sound quality varies from low to high pitches, but generally, they tend to have a good, resonant, higher pitch.

Professional flamenco dancers often use Terra or Granadillo, but as they can be difficult to master and are expensive, it's recommended for general performances and recitals to choose good quality Fibra palillos.

This item is made in Spain and sourced from Canela Pura, a shop handling items for the Spanish National Ballet.
